Today while romping around the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center a friend of mine noticed someone walking around taking photographs of the various aircraft exhibited. This person, looked just like a certain Michael Bay. Bay, the *famous* producer/director of such films as Transformers, Pearl Harbor, and Armageddon. He is pictured above on the set of the upcoming Alfred Hitchcock remake, The Birds, commanding them to be awesome.
Jason Statham, star of action and, well, more action movies, will step up for Transporter 3. Statham will be returning along side Francois Berleand (the cop then cook) and joining newcomer Robert Knepper from FOX's Prison Break.
The fun action flick featuring a driver for hire is probably not going to be much of a departure from the first two flicks. Although bring in a new director, Olivier Megaton, looks to mix things up a bit. Unfortunately (or... perhaps fortunately...) I haven't seen any of his work to form an opinion and prospect this new movie.
Here's hoping for more car chases and driving action... less random 'bomb removal with a jump and crane.'
