Gundam: Reconguista in G Trailer

Body:

I still can't get a good grip on this yet. I might have to wait for at least the first few episodes. It's Tomino, so t can go right or really, really wrong. Also, the G-Serufu looks like Gundam Exia by way of Victory Gundam. It's like the TOMY version of Exia. Should I review it for my blog or what? (How do you pronounce the title, even?)

Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn (UC) Reaction(s) (SOME SPOILERS)

Body:

Not necessarily a Newtype Ghost Party... because you know, most of these people aren't dead.

So, who's seen Gundam UC Episode 7 yet? I wanted to gauge some (informal) reactions to the finale of the Gundam Unicorn saga, outside of Twitter comments. Other members of OR should feel free to add their own thoughts.

Building a MG Unicorn without Instructions

Body:

I've got quite a few Master Grade Unicorn Gundams in my collection. By last count I'm at 12 including the Banshee variants. When I picked up the last three for a bit of a project I was challenged on Reddit to build one without the manual. It wasn't the first time someone threw that task out there so I thought I'd give it a go.

Preparation was easy, take all the of the runners with applicable parts and cut & trim all the pieces. I didn't do any of the weapons because I haven't decided whether I'm going to use them or trade them out quite yet. I've already got more Beam Magnum rounds than I know what to do with. I made things a bit more difficult for myself by including both the Ver. Ka and OVA parts in the mix.

Sazabi ver. Ka - Almost Complete

Body:

I haven't said much about this project on OR but I figure the day before it's finally complete is a good a time as any to post some work-in-progess shots. Painting wise, everything is complete. Decals are on (surprisingly without major incident) and the top coat is on. I'm just making a few small detail tweaks where and there as I assemble the kit for the last time.

Take a look at some of the pieces as they're starting to come together...

MG RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. 3.0 - Review - Updated 5/16

Body:

MG RX-78-2 Gundam Ver 3 2Flickr

Welcome to my review of Bandai's latest Master Grade Gundam model, the RX-78-2 Gundam Version 3.0. The redesigned kit takes after Bandai's new and improved vision of the original Gundam, matching the giant statue in Tokyo and the previous Real Grade release. While it features a more traditional frame than the RG, the MG is, for better or worse, simply a scaled up version of its little brother.
