I know I'm well behind the times, but I've finally finished my MG Red frame.
I actually started building this kit over a year ago. I remember picking the kit up for cheap on eBay, building it, and modifying a MG Nemo gun for it. Then, for whatever reason, I shelved it for later. Now in the past two week it's turned into an experimental test subject to finalize some addition to the Layman's Gunpla Guide.
Take a look at my first, and rather over the top, attempt to use sponges to create a weathered appearance one of my Gundams...

A guide will eventually be written up for those wishing to attempt the same!
A gunpla fan over on /toy/ shared some of his stop motion gunpla projects. My favorite is the one below using the 1/144 Jet Stream set of Doms...
Check out his other videos. They're pretty good, especially for someone using a tripod made from Lego. Okay, yeah, they're pretty cheesy at points, but I'm looking forward to his next big production. His Lego construction videos are pretty good as well.
Taking a break from my RX-78-2, I've decided to return to work on my MG Red Frame. Making some good progress now. Lines need a bit more clean up and it's off to decaling.
I forgot how many fucking lines these kits have. The last two days I've gotten crinks in my neck from staring down at this kit for so long.
