Episode 74, "Run, No. 17! Piccolo's Suicidal Resistance" *****SPOILERS***** Synopsis: Piccolo is surprised to see that Artificial 17 doesn't know about Cell. Cell doesn't recognize Artificial Human 16 and dismisses his presence. He powers up, frightening Piccolo. Chi-Chi suggests that somebody go meet Bulma on her way there with the controller. Kuririn flies off to do so. Tenshinhan flies off to assist Piccolo. Cell engages 17, with Piccolo trying to assist.16 warns 17, who arrogantly dimisses it. Cell beats up on Piccolo, who fires a powerful ki blast at him. However, Cell is unaffected.. He breaks Piccolo's neck, blasts him through his body, and throws him into the sea.

Episode 73, "This is the Power of a Super Namekian! No. 17 vs Piccolo", or "Piccolo Hasn't Kicked This Much Ass Since... Ever" *****SPOILERS***** Synopsis: Bulma is having difficulty figuring out how to make a shut down controller for Artificial Human 17. Meanwhile, Piccolo and 17 continue their fight, which escalates. Cell detects Piccolo's ki and realizes he must be fighting the Artificial Humans, so he speeds off in the direction of the ki. Piccolo and 17 start close quarters combat, with brutal punches and kicks. Bulma calls Kuririn and tells him that she completed a controller that will deactivate either 17 or 18.

Episode 72, "Surpass Super Saiyan! Now, Into the Room of Spirit and Time", or "Plenty of Closet Space" *****SPOILERS***** Synopsis: Goku teleports to the plane where his friends are. He tells them that he's going to train with Gohan somewhere where they can train for a year in one day, the Room of Spirit and Time. He teleports himself and his son away, admitting that he's both scared and excited. Goku and Gohan teleport to Vegeta and Gohan. He approaches Vegeta with the idea. Vegeta insists that he be the first one in the room. The Artificial Humans find that Goku isn't home, but 16 has Kame House in his memory banks, so they decide to head there. At Kami's palace, Mr.

Starting tonight, Funimation will be streaming Dragon Ball Z episodes 1-15 on their website. This is just the first step in what they say will be streaming of all Dragon Ball shows, including Dragon Ball Kai, online, for free. This is an unprecedented feat for the company. The DBZ streaming uses the Funimation "Remastered Season Sets" footage. The "orange bricks" as they're often called have video that Funimation remastered on their own, causing the loss of detail. They also blew up the picture and cropped it for widescreen, so there's also missing bits of the picture. They also messed around with the colors so that it's much brighter than intended.

Episode 70, "A Devious Trick, the Taiyo-ken! Chase After the Artificial Human Cell", or "Dickisode" *****SPOILERS***** Synopsis: Cell explains that Dr. Gero was collecting the cells of the greatest warriors to make a bio-android from them, but abandoned the project for the computer to finish. The cells were collected by a small robot similar to the ones that observed Goku. Cell reveals that he has to absorb Artificial Humans 17 and 18 to attain his perfect form, but in the future he came from, they'd been destroyed, so he killed Trunks and stole his time machine, then coverted himself into egg form as he activated the time machine to come to this past.
