After a bit of a Gunpla break I've returned to get started on my next MG Unicorn, this time a MG Banshee, painted in a Titans colour scheme. Instead of black for the torso and feet I'm going to go a navy blue then use a lighter blue on the rest of the kit. The frame, where I originally planned to use yellow, is going to silver. Yellow details will go here and there, as with the Titans theme, and red where appropriate. This guy is also going to have two claws, with the angry claw bits painted a metalic red (like it's heating up). Here's the current mockup...
Though the scheme is pretty straight forward, I've been having second thoughts. I want to do detals on the frame as well, but I don't know whether gold would be well suited. Silver would fit more, but would it be too much? Of course, I could just leave it alone (e.g. straight gray) and stick to the traditional Titans theme. Alternatively I could replace the red with a metalic blue of sorts, making the kit all shales of blue & white, but less traditional. I'm also thinking about the half built PG MK-II Titans kit I've had laying around since 2008. Originally that was going to go the same way this Banshee is going, blues and silvers. Decisions, decisions.
In the meantime the physco frame and darker blue pieces are getting painted, take a look...
