"Mom, don't you think you've gone over your daily amount of bitchiness?""Damn, I know I should have tapped that woman over there before she had a kid."

*****SPOILERS*****

Synopsis: On the transport, Gohan asks about how the future will change if they manage to defeat the Artificial Humans. Trunks laments that really, nothing will change in his future, as it's an alternate timeline. However, if he manages to find a way to destroy the Artificial Humans in this timeline, he can go back to his and at least destroy them there. He wonders how things turned out the way they did, but Chi-Chi expresses her gratefulness to him for coming, because it saved Goku's life. Artificial Human 16 reveals to 17 and 18 the location of Goku's house and they drive towards there. Kuririn calls Bulma to update her and she reports that people at Capsule Corporation found something that looks like Trunks' time machine. Trunks, who has his time machine in capsule form, is bewildered. Trunks and Gohan meet with Bulma at the site, and find a time machine just like Trunks, which has been there for several years. They also find a strange eggshell inside of it.

"So, I'm not alone, right? The McRib coming back, that's worth the detour."You'd think with all that money, Bulma could afford a pillow for her kid.

Comments:

You know, as a rule, I hate time travel as a story element (I make exceptions for Back to the Future and Chrono Trigger. Because it goes to reason that you can't really prevent something from having happened, otherwise, it would have already not happened, and therefore it didn't need to be prevented. That I exist now proves that you didn't succeed in preventing my birth. If you had, I wouldn't have made it here to this point in time. If you try to prevent my birth, you will undoubtably fail, because you already have and always will have.

This is why I rather enjoy the time travel element in this story, because it acknowledges that Trunks' own timeline will remain unchanged by saving Goku in the current timeline. However, he hopes that if they can find a way to destroy the Artificial Humans in this timeline, he might be able to use that to destroy them in his. Alternate timelines.

Is it just me, or is Bulma flirting with her son in that scene where she meets up with him and Gohan? Is there some kind of depraved act that Bulma will not sink to? That slut. She was probably working herself over with a Capsule Corp Brand "massager" earlier, thinking about all the perverted time-travel-incest she could be taking part in with her strapping teen son. She was even eying her baby thinking about how attractive he'll become. The sick bitch. I guess we all should have seen it coming, since she willingly had sex with a guy who slaughtered entire planets of people for fun and profit.

Silly map. Spain isn't that close to Africa."Well, time to stop being useless."

3.5 out of 5
