Here's one you've probably heard already. This is the lead track from the Gaslight Anthem's fourth album, Handwritten. The YouTube video for the song was posted almost three months ago and just surpassed one million views. Just because I feel obligated to attach a blurb to these videos doesn't mean that you have to read them.

Is this song getting the attention it deserves? It's three months old at this point but Temper Trap's self-named album has only reached 83rd here in the United States. Either way, it's good to see some Australian bands getting airplay around here.

Lovedrug is an indie band out of Ohio. I just came across them while going through the unofficial SXSW 2012 artists torrent. Dinosaur is one of the singles from their 2011 album, Wild Blood. Certain parts of the song remind me of The Pixies - Where is my Mind.

The Base is the first release of Paul Banks' upcoming solo album, Banks. Paul is best known as the lead for the group Interpol and this is his second full length solo album.

One of my favorite bands. The video doesn't have anything to do with the song... but it has John Slattery! And that guy toward the end who looks almost like David Bowie? Well that's James Urbaniak, va for Dr Venture and Phantom Limb from The Venture Bros!
