Episode 4, "Clash! Mechanical Beasts vs Mazinger"

Synopsis: Kouji in the Mazinger and Sayaka in the Aphrodai A are attacked by the Mechanical Beasts, the blade wielding Garada K7 and two-headed Doublas M2, while Baron Ashura attempts to bring Dr. Kabuto into the fold by choice or by force. Kouji finally gets used to the controls of Mazinger, but hesitates when he sees the innocent casualties of the battle. While the Robot Corps appears to assist, Dr. Kabuto controls Mazinger's rocket punch hand and uses it to bring him to Mazinger to instruct Kouji in person.

Episode 4, "Run in the Afterlife, Son Goku! The One Million Kilometer Snake Road"

Synopsis: After Goku passes away, his body disappears from the mortal plane, so that Kami can convince King Yemma to let him train with Kaio-sama (I should just go with "King Kai", right?). Bulma takes the scouter from Raditz's body to adjust to find Yamcha and the others. Piccolo takes Gohan off to train for the oncoming threat of the Saiyans while Goku is approved to train under Kaio. Piccolo demonstrates Gohan's hidden power and Goku begins down Snake Road.

Synopsis: While a mysterious scarred man kills State Alchemists, Ed and Al are introduced to Shou Tucker, the "Life-Sewing Alchemist", an expert in chimeras, and his young daughter Nina. Edward researches, but takes time to play with Nina, as well. Tucker frets over his upcoming assessment, and makes a tragic decision leading to an abomination, much to the horror of the brothers. However, vengeance is metted out by the mysterious man.

Episode 3, "Sortie! Ashura Corps!"

Synopsis: Kouji docks the Pilder craft in a giant robot called Mazinger, which catches the attention of Dr. Hell's servant, Ashura. Mazinger is said to resemble the rebel god Zeus, who defended the human race thousands of years ago. Ashura, full of rage at the betrayal, attacks Mazinger on his/her (!) own, but is stopped by Dr. Hell, who confronts Dr. Kabuto. Ashura's troops take to city streets and new giant robots spring into action against Mazinger.
