Lupin III Part V Episode 12 Review

Episode 12, "The Etravagance of Goemon Ishikawa XIII"

*****SPOILERS*****

Synopsis:  Goemon finds himself in a quaint village looking for the owner of a jewel Lupin wants. The jewel's owner, Chloé, runs a struggling bistro and Goemon keeps surveillance on her, saving her from others wanting the treasure. But the more he gets to know the town and its people, especially Chloé, the harder it gets for him to snatch the item. Can Goemon overcome his feelings and pull the job off or will Lupin have to finish it for him? It's con vs con during a con, as our favorite modern samurai walks among the cosplay crowd!

ThunderCats 2011 Episode 09 – Build-A-Berbil Workshop

Man alive, I thought it would be a few episodes after what I had watched before I would be won over by the show. Yet about halfway through this one, I was already won over not just by the episode proper, but the whole show in general. Had I ONLY watched this after the previous episode, I would've probably finished this show earlier. Alas, that was not to be the case, but better late than never.

Otaku Evolution Episode 116 - Dragon Ball Z: Dead Zone

I had to move this video to BitChute because Toei is run by assholes.

I really should cut down on these long pre-credit and post-credit sequences, and I'll probably do that soon, but for now, I spend days meticulously putting them together. It makes me appreciate animation more, because they're barely animated, just a step or two above a slide show. I don't know if I intended them to continue story ideas from my comic strips (which frankly, I can't see anybody getting unless they read them, which nobody did) or they're there to provide atmosphere/pad runtime. I both love and loathe making them. Perhaps I simply want to show off. But if I didn't, I wouldn't be making these videos at all.

ThunderCats 2011 Episodes 03 – 08 – Boring Vessels, Lively World

Some unexpected computer problems the last week created a delay in my rewatch of the ThunderCats 2011 I had already seen. Instead of going through with my plan of watching smaller chunks, I watched the whole cat and kiboodle instead. So let's end this so we can get to what I think of the episodes I HAVEN'T seen.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These Episode 10 Review

Episode 10, "Interlude"

*****SPOILERS*****

Synopsis: The Empire is informed of the upcoming invasion of Imperial territory by the Free Planets Alliance, as leaked by Adrian Rubinsky. The nobles decide to put Reinhard up to the task of repelling the invasion, hoping it'll take the fight out of him so they can finish him off at their leisure. On Heinessen, meanwhile, the fleet leaders meet to discuss the battle plan, proposed by overzealous officer, Commodore Andrew Falk, which Yang objects to.

Lupin III Part V Episode 11 Review

Friendship is challenged in this spirited safari!

Otaku Evolution Episode 115 - Dragon Ball: Curse of the Blood Rubies

Yikes, this one's pretty short. Introducing Dragon Ball Month on Otaku Evolution, where I comb through some of the movies and try to find the spirit of the source material in the midst of "original" stories. Here I start with the first Dragon Ball movie, Curse of the Blood Rubies, and you'll understand why the video's short, because the movie is less than an hour long. So I padded it with that wonderful book end storyline nonsense that nobody appreciates but me. There's still a review in there, though, it's not just a summary with quips.

For the most part, anyway.
