Episode 20, "Grudge! The Longest Day at Kurogane House: Part 2"

Synopsis: As Kouji in the Mazinger battles what seems to be his father in the Energer Z, Tsubasa recalls the events that led to the death of Tetsuya Tsurugi. It’s revealed that Kenzo Kabuto was a Dr. Hell sympathizer and planned to join him in his plans to take over the world with the Mechanical Beasts. With the help of Zeus’ hand, Tetsuya managed to pin down the traitorous Kenzo just long enough for Tsubasa to fire at him. In present time, Tsubasa confronts "Ashura", really Pygman in disguise, but is ready nevertheless to reveal the location of Zeus’ hand.
Episode 25, "The Sighs of Haruhi Suzumiya (Part 2)"

Synopsis: Haruhi continues the planning of her movie, but the secrecy disconcerts Kyon, who wants to know what it’s actually about and how she managed to get free equipment. Haruhi reveals that the script is in her head. Outfitting Mikuru in waitress attire, they begin filming at local shops, but Haruhi has her change into a bunny girl costume. Then they switch venues to a park to film Mikuru running.

Yes, reading the synopsis gives you literally all they did in this episode. I’m beginning to remember how dull most of the second book was.

Episode 20, "Father in Front of the Grave"

Synopsis: Edward encounters his father, Hohenheim, at his mother’s grave, who chides him for burning down their house. That night, Hohenheim asks Pinako about the "thing" his sons transmuted, with Ed listening in secret. The next day, after Hohenheim leaves, Ed and Pinako dig up the "thing", and it turns out to not be his mother after all. This leads Ed to believe he can bring Al back from beyond the "doors". When Ed returns to Central, he informs Al of his findings. He also calls Izumi and asks about her own experience with human transmutation. As it turns out, the dead cannot be brought back, regardless of effort. Ed and Al then vow to continue working on a way to restore their bodies.
Episode 19, "Grudge! The Longest Day at Kurogane House: Part 1"

Synopsis: Dr. Hell has identified Tsubasa as a major threat to his plans, and dispatches Viscount Pygman to remove her. Pygman summons the ghost of Tetsuya Tsurugi, a pilot who worked with the Bardos research time piloting Kenzo’s prototype robot. Kouji consults Baron Ashura, who is being hunted by his former allies, in helping Tsubasa. Pygman arrives at the Kurogane House as a hologram and a robot appears that looks very much like Mazinger Z. It’s called Energer Z, and it’s piloted by Kenzo Kabuto.
Episode 24, "The Sighs of Haruhi Suzumiya (Part 1)" (Well, at least it’s not "Endless Eight"…)

Synopsis: Eager to take part in North High’s cultural festival, Haruhi plans for the SOS Brigade to do a project of their own, rather than pay attention to class projects. Inspired by a bad movie she watched one night, she resolves to make a great film. She casts Mikuru in the lead and insists on Kyon doing all the menial labor work, while she directs. She drags Kyon and Mikuru with her to get a camera and some other material for the movie, easily recieving them for free after talking to store owners, but Kyon has a bad feeling about it.
