“Change” critics don’t have a clue

Since Obama has taken office I have become sick. Sick of every ignorant motherfucker who feel the need to make some sort of play on Obama’s campaign motto, “Change we can believe in,” every time something arises to which they disagree with.

I can’t seem to wrap my head around what these people represent. Are they Republicans who didn’t pay attention to anything during the election other than party affiliation? Are they Democrats who spent the last few months in a magical fantasy land? Regardless of their affiliation they’re apparently the most unqualified people to comment on the current political situation in the US. read more

New FMA Cast

New Cast of Fullmetal Alchemist

A while back, news broke that for the new FMA series, based closer to the original Hiromu Arakawa manga than the first television series, the Japanese voice actresses Romi Paku and Rie Kugimiya would be reprising their roles as Edward and Alphonse Elric, respectively. – Nobody is satisfied with anything ever – even given a new UC production, they whined it was “too OYW-oriented” and said they wanted Gundam Unicorn
– Nearly every thread is a troll thread read more

The end of radio as we know it…

Radio has been of great influence in American history. Since the early days airwaves have brought new forms of entertainment and new forms of music to our homes, places of work and automobiles. Since the 1920’s the radio waves have born witness to great dramas, the birth of rock and roll, international headlines, the rise and fall of radio personalities and the death of the radio star. Despite these shifts the format has remained strong over the decades… only to fall ill in these past few years; unfortunately, it is with a sickness that may prove fatal. read more

My Favorite Vidya Games

Penguin Truth’s Top 25 Favorite Vidya Games

I’m quite fond of video games. I’m not really a "gamer" the way others are, mostly because I’ve never been all that good at them. Seriously, I suck out loud at video games. They won’t even let me in arcades. It doesn’t help that folks who are good at video games make you feel like worthless trash if you aren’t as good as they are at playing them. It’s very discouraging. Still, there are a lot of video games I’ve enjoyed in my twenty five years of life.
