I’ve read that it’s not even an hour long, but damn if I’m not hyped up for it. We need more Lupin in this style, the same as the Fujiko TV series. A darker, moodier series to wash some of the bland pap the TV specials have served up lo these many recent years.

Even if the Aniplex prices weren’t the product of deranged sociopaths in Japan ($75 gets you a LE with POSTCARDS! Oooooh, postcards), this English dub is… well, it’s as lacking as I expected it. Mako, Mikisugi, and Nonon all sound good, but Satsuki is just awful. Senketsu, too. Terrible. Ryuko sounds kind of iffy, too. FFS. Funimation would have at least as good as this AND had it all on two discs for under sixty dollars. Instead, you get four episodes a set and have to pay up the ass even for the standard editions. Aniplex is fucking sick.
