I’ve made some more progress on my MG 1/100 RX-78-2. The right leg is about 90% done and the left foot is done.
I’m still having issues with nub marks remaining, but I’ve been trying a few different techniques. Hopefully I figure something out soon. Anyways, I’m happy with my progress so far.
My first “official” gunpla, started in late February. By official, I mean sanding, inking, and taking my time to carefully build the model, not just speed building it, like I had done with a 1/100 NG Gundam Exia from late May 2009. I know it is already June 1st, and I haven’t made a whole lot of process, but that is truly the beauty of modeling. I can just pick up right where I left off; whenever I have free time or want to spend a few hours working on it I can.
Right now I would have to say I am roughly halfway through the model, the upper body, head, and arms are completely assembled and inked. I really an enjoying the process of building it, at first it seems like it is slow, with little to no progress. However, as each limb, body part, and extremity is assembled the big picture is soon seen.
Episode 06 – “Backlash”
Heroman picks it up again and delivers another interesting and enjoyable episode.

Summary: Episode 06 picks up right where episode 05 left off. Joey & co. are fighting the two new Skrugg, Will and Nick. However, Lina calls out for Will, causing him to have a mental breakdown. This leads to the Skrugg leader to order a retreat.
It is shortly thereafter revealed that Will and Nick did not chose to be made Skrugg, but are mere experiments. They are much more powerful than the typical Skrugg soldier, being able to stand-up and fight against Heroman.
Episode 05 – “Assassins”

The reason for the late post is quite full of excuses, I’ve been extremely busy the past week or so. Between AP Tests, my research paper being do, helping out the girl’s lacrosse team, and being sick on the tail end of this week, I’ve been swamped. Excuses aside, I’ve finally gotten around to watching Heroman 05 and 06. So let’s get this started!
Summary: The Skrugg leader has taken notice of Heroman and decides he needs to take him out for good. Joey repairs Heroman’s damages from the previous episode, and Denton has created a high frequency guitar to battle the Skrugg with using their stolen technology.
Episode 04 – “Tama (Sphere)”

Summary: Episode 04, if you couldn’t tell by the name is about a giant sphere rolling through Center City, threatening to roll-over and destroy the gym where the civilians have taken refuge.
Before this though you see Will and Nick venture into the Skrugg’s base, only to get their asses captured. Who knows what is going to happen with them.
Denton tries to study the Skrugg’s weapons and also how to activate Heroman. Denton tries, but he can’t activate Heroman.
Episode 03 – “Invasion”

Summary: The Skrugg have invaded Central City. The police and army are no opposition for the Skrugg and their tough exterior exo-skeletons. The Skrugg’s mother ship extends its roots on and into the Earth, essentially allowing the broadcast of their signal through the air, TV, and computers.
Joey and Psy head off to make sure Joey’s grandmother is okay and on the way they encounter a group of Skrugg. As expected, Joey summons Heroman, who once again kicks some serious ass. In typical shonen fashion, Heroman becomes overpowered by the amount of Skrugg and must use a new power in order to overcome them.
Episode 02 – “Encounter”

Summary: In the second episode of Heroman we finally get to see some action. Action, as in some robot versus giant alien insect ass-kicking action. To be honest, that is really all that happens. The Skrugg, the evil aliens who received Professor Denton’s broadcast in space, arrive on Earth to take over the planet and kill all the humans. They are searching for Denton, to become the representative for Earth and also a test subject to extract memories from.
Episode 01 – “Beginning”

Summary: The first episode of the new anime series produced by BONES. The project staff includes Stan Lee (of American comic fame) and some staffers who worked on Cowboy Bebop and Eureka Seven. The story takes place in western America (California presumably), following a kid named Joey Jones. Joey is a hard worker and good student, working part time to support himself and his grandma. From what we can tell from the first episode is that both of his parents are dead.
