This photo is about a week old but I neglected to post ’em here for whatever unknown reasons…
All that’s left is to double check some of the lining and top coat.
Taking a break from my RX-78-2, I’ve decided to return to work on my MG Red Frame. Making some good progress now. Lines need a bit more clean up and it’s off to decaling.
I forgot how many fucking lines these kits have. The last two days I’ve gotten crinks in my neck from staring down at this kit for so long.
A little something I cooked up…
Not sure if I shared this here or not. Figure I might as well as I’ve just uploaded it to my new Vimeo account…
It’s come to my attention a new tower defense type game has been released on Xbox Live featuring some suspicious cover art.
Scribble Defense is a new, yet well received, take on the tower defense genre. While the game appears innocent enough, fans of Gurren Lagann might find the cover art oddly familiar…
Your eyes aren’t deceiving you. It looks a lot like the ultimate antagonist, the Anti-Spiral…
Now, it could be a homage, but they’re generally a lot more subtle than this. Perhaps it’s just mere coincidence? I highly doubt it. The developer, Elbert Perez, posts on Twitter as mechaghost and even launched his website with a little Gurren Lagann image. He strikes me as the kind of chap who would’ve seen the series through. I can’t find any other references to the series on his site.

A fellow /toy/man is trying to sell of his massive collection of Dragon Ball figures and assorted merchandise.
Since we get a fair share of DBZ fans I offered to help him spread the word.
Take a look at his collection…
If you’re interested in any of his item please contact Mike at mikegalloway@gmail.com.
I have no affiliation with this seller, I’m just passing the word along. So, as with all online transactions, purchase safely and at your own risk. [/cover my ass]
