Top 5 Literal Music Videos

The formula is simple. Just take one horrible music video and throw in someone with working eyes and the ability to sing…

1) Total Eclipse of the Heart

2) Take on Me

3) Head Over Heels

4) Under the Bridge

5) White Wedding

Never Gonna Give You Up might have made the cut if the singer could match Rick’s singing.

MG Sinanju Build Review

Bandai’s 1/100 Master Grade Sinanju was my first build of 2009*.

(I haven’t proofed this article, so suck it)

From a build quality this kid if fucking fantastic. Not only does it look great, but it’s a big sucker, considerably taller than most MG Gundams. Much to my surprise this kit lacks pollycap joints. While I hated that on my Crossbone the mechanics here are great. The joints are innovative and make for lots of movement. The only issue here is that the shield can be a bit heavy (at least with the beam saber things attached) than the arm can support. If it’s clipped on the forearm it has a tendency to pop off all to easily or slowly cause the arm to dip down. read more

“Change” critics don’t have a clue

Since Obama has taken office I have become sick. Sick of every ignorant motherfucker who feel the need to make some sort of play on Obama’s campaign motto, “Change we can believe in,” every time something arises to which they disagree with.

I can’t seem to wrap my head around what these people represent. Are they Republicans who didn’t pay attention to anything during the election other than party affiliation? Are they Democrats who spent the last few months in a magical fantasy land? Regardless of their affiliation they’re apparently the most unqualified people to comment on the current political situation in the US. read more

The end of radio as we know it…

Radio has been of great influence in American history. Since the early days airwaves have brought new forms of entertainment and new forms of music to our homes, places of work and automobiles. Since the 1920’s the radio waves have born witness to great dramas, the birth of rock and roll, international headlines, the rise and fall of radio personalities and the death of the radio star. Despite these shifts the format has remained strong over the decades… only to fall ill in these past few years; unfortunately, it is with a sickness that may prove fatal. read more

America’s Song Embarrasses, Causes Immediate Constipation

There’s a new song sweeping the nation. Sung by some of the music worlds top performers. Stuffed full of imagery from one of the greatest countries in the world. That song, is America’s Song. That song, is cause for emigration.

America’s Song debuted the other day on the Fat Opera Winfrey Show. The single was produced by Wil.I.Am and composed by David Foster (Canadian). As though they thought the song wasn’t doomed to fail from that combination they somehow managed to squeeze in Mary J Blige, Seal, Faith Hill, and someone doing a bad Bono impression. read more
