Fullmetal Alchemist Chapter 105 (SPOILERS)
My thoughts on Fullmetal Alchemist Chapter 105:
It seems like part of my long-running theory was correct, and part of it was wrong. I did get right that what Hohenheim did all those chapters ago when he spilled part of his Philosopher’s Stone out into the ground was part of his plan to defeat Father, and that he would activate his plan when it seemed Father was unbeatable. However, it was not part of the reverse array after all. The question becomes, did Hohenheim always intend to make the reverse array and he just stumbled into the others working on it or did he not know about it yet until Alphonse brought him the news about it in Lior? Either way, enough of my theory was correct to make me satisfied, even though it does seem a little cheesy that he can still use the souls as active participants.
Dragon Ball Kai – Episode 45 Review
Episode 45, "It’s a 20-Fold Kaio-ken! A Kamehameha With Everything on the Line"
*****SPOILERS*****
Synopsis: Gohan throws the Bulma frog in front of Piccolo before Ginyu can switch bodies with him, returning Bulma to her body. Freeza continues having the advantage in the fight, while Goku is losing strength. Seeing Freeza’s power, Goku realizes he can’t win on his own. He decides that he’ll try a 20x Kaioken. Freeza continues to beat on Goku. Goku ends up in the water, but when he tries to emerge, Freeza holds him under. Drowning, Goku has a horrible vision that causes him to break free from Freeza. He uses a 20x Kaioken and fires a Kamehameha at Freeza, but Freeza ends up barely damaged by it. Goku has another vision, this time of Vegeta telling him to defeat Freeza. However, Freeza is angered by this and rushes forward to continue.
Dragon Ball Kai – Episode 44 Review
Episode 44, "A Physical War That Exceeds All Limits! Goku and Freeza and Ginyu, Again?!"
*****SPOILERS*****
Synopsis: Freeza asks Goku if he prefers to fight in the air or the land, and Goku choses the latter. Goku removes his weighted shirt. Freeza offers a "service": he will not fight with his hands. The two of them resume combat, with Freeza keeping up just as well for a while without his hands. However, eventually Goku’s intensity increases, and Freeza is forced to punch to defend himself. In another part of Namek, Bulma makes friends with a frog, and creates a frog-to-human communications device. However, the frog is actually Captain Ginyu, who uses his power to switch bodies with her. Ginyu then removes the device from the Bulma frog and races off to find Freeza. Freeza claims that he has not yet used half of his power and Goku thinks he’s bluffing. Freeza offers to make Goku a subordinate, but Goku turns him down. Ginyu, in Bulma’s body, as well as the frog Bulma arrive on the scene and at first fool Gohan and the others. Freeza suddenly increases his speed and easily takes the advantage. Gohan and the group catch on that Bulma isn’t herself.
