The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya – Episode 20 Review

Episode 20, "Endless Eight (Part 5)"

*****SPOILERS*****

Synopsis: The exact same fucking thing that happened last episode, with different angles. (Endless indeed.)

Comments:

First, I’d like to explain my numbering system for SHnY episodes this season, as I should have gone into that long ago. No matter how you number/order the episodes from the first season of the program, there are fourteen of them (Episode 00 and thirteen more). Therefore, I counted the first new episode of the season "episode 15" and continue on from there. This is episode 20. "Endless Eight" started in episode 16. read more

“HERP DERP OBAMA ISN’T A CITIZEN!” Says Sore Losers

What’s with all these “Obama birthers”?

Is it that Republicans, so shocked by having a well-read, educated, somewhat liberal President in the White House, are so desperately grasping at straws to deny his validty as a leader they have to go this far even now? Is it just political sour grapes, or are conservative types really this delusional? I suppose when all your guidance in life comes from a book of hijacked Pagan myths and private conversations with an invisible sky father, your logic and reason is a little out of whack.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya – Episode 19 Review

Episode 19, "Endless Eight (Part 4)"

*****SPOILERS*****

Synopsis: The exact same fucking thing that happened last episode, with different angles. (!!!)

Comments:

I don’t really know what to say at this point. Should I be angry? I was, at first. I was pretty pissed that Kyoto Animation really not only continued a storyline that should have been wrapped up in a single episode, two at the most, yet again. I mean, really, four episodes, and it’s still not over. This is either the best trolling ever, or these folks are being held hostage and are trying to call for help. Having watched this a second time, I no longer feel this anger. read more
