What has happened to these five terms? The more and more I browse the Internet, the more and more I regret doing so. I have always known the general public of this country to be less than scholarly, but the younger generation (even younger than me) makes me fearful of the future. This may be harsh (and possibly exaggerated for effect), however it needs to be said because it holds grains of truth – for more than one reason.

First of all…WAY TO GO OBAMA!
That’s right! Obama has officially secured the amount of delegates necessary to be the 2008 Democratic Nominee for President. After 52 primaries the Democratic Party can now, hopefully (and in theory), unite together and work towards winning in November.
A week or so ago my parents opened up their mailbox to find a check for $1,200 – meet their “economic stimulus” package from the government. Now that’s all good and well for my parents, they could use an extra $1,200 for all the home remodeling they want to do around the house; but, where’s my stimulus package?

No, I am not some sort of expert of politics nor do I think I am. With that said…This was a blog post that I had on another site from May 22, but I felt like sharing it, because it’s my account and I can do that.
