NOTE: My samefag sense is tingling. I’m closing the comments. It’s pretty sad that somebody has to post as different people to pretend to be a majority. Especially when they don’t change their rhetoric or writing style. I was born at night, but not last night.

My Thoughts On: Ballsy Streaming (UPDATED)

Starting tonight, Funimation will be streaming Dragon Ball Z episodes 1-15 on their website. This is just the first step in what they say will be streaming of all Dragon Ball shows, including Dragon Ball Kai, online, for free. This is an unprecedented feat for the company.

The 2nd Annual Otaku Revolution Awards
I probably should have been working on this for a while, but instead I’ve been furiously masturbating to Rule 34 of Avatar: The Last Airbender until I exhaust, and then crying myself to sleep with sharp, bitter sobs.
2011 is a year of promise. As in, the promise of remaining a twentysomething virgin who spends his time writing sappy poetry about female friends who have actual men in their lives and arguing the superiority of one cartoon voice over another while most people are having careers and lives. Having barely survived the robot apocalypse by beating them off (lol) with a sack full of magnets, I look forward to another 365 days of soul crushing disappointment punctuated by occasional moments of mild satisfaction, usually caused by the sweet release of my carb-filled bowel movements while I read the backs of DVD cases looking for spelling mistakes (note to reader: don’t touch any of my anime DVD cases).
Under the Cel Shading gets thrashed by Busy Street!
A week ago I sent my series to one site that is very critical of TGWTG in the hopes of getting something other than outright positive criticism, and well… Here’s what they did and I love them for it:

Anime Voice Talent Highlight #6: Masako Nozawa
#6: Masako Nozawa

It’s hard to imagine a voice talent who delivers with more warmth, charm, and sincerity than Masako Nozawa. Though she’s basically well-known only for a single character (and his look-alikes), it’s that one iconic role and equally iconic performance that makes her worthy of highlight. That role, for those of you in a cave for the past twenty four years, is Son Goku from Dragon Ball/Z/GT.

Anime Voice Talent Highlight #5: Ryo Horikawa
#5: Ryo Horikawa

A voice actor with a lot of presence, Ryo Horikawa (born Mokoto Horikawa) had a strong presence in the 80s and 90s in Japanese animation. He’s probably best known as the wicked prince of all Saiyans, Vegeta, in Dragon Ball Z, but he was acting before and has been doing work since.
