Episode 13, "Here Comes The Kaioken! Goku’s Limit vs Vegeta!"

Synopsis: Nappa, called out of the fight by Vegeta, instead targets Gohan and Kuririn, but Goku uses the Kaioken technique he learned from Kaio to immobilize him. Vegeta, fed up with Nappa’s incompetence, kills him. Goku and Vegeta fly off to a more remote area to do battle. Goku uses the Kaioken and seems to match Vegeta at first, but Vegeta begins to come back in force, and Goku struggles to keep up. Seeing no choice, Goku strains his body to use Kaioken to the third power, against Kaio’s advice.

Episode 13, "Beasts of Dublith"

Synopsis: Despite her understanding, Izumi expells Edward and Alphonse for their going against her teachings, but they return to ask for her help. Meanwhile, Roy Mustang prepares to transfer to Central by calling together his subordinates. Scar recovers from his injuries at an Ishbalan refugee camp, where disgraced Lt. Yoki tries to have him taken by thugs for a reward, but Scar fights back. In Dublith, a group of chimera lure Alphonse to them, then subdue him for their boss, a homunculi named Greed. In their hideout, Greed offers to teach Alphonse how to make a homuculi in returns for information on how to attach a soul to something. Edward comes into the hideout refusing to make an exchange of information, and he and Greed battle. Greed uses his ability to harden his body to fight, but Edward figures out the key to it, and the battle comes to a draw. Suddenly, Izumi steps into the hideout, immediately subduing Greed.
Episode 12, "Escape! Undersea Fortress Saluud!"

Synopsis: Imprisoned in Baron Ashura’s underwater fortress, Kouji is rescued by Boss and his lackies. To Ashura’s horror, Brocken begins bombing Saluud to punish him/her for taking off without Dr. Hell’s permission and bringing a beacon (in Aprodai A) near their HQ. Kouji, Boss, and his lackies rescue Sayaka. After Brocken has left, Ashura decides to abandon Saluud. After defeating a Gamia android, Kouji and his group get in the Pilder and dock in Mazinger, but are confronted by Ashura, who tells them that the base is self-destructing, and escapes. Mazinger manages to get out of Saluud, but gets stuck on the ocean floor, until it’s rescued by the Robot Corps, bringing with them the Jet Scrander module. Mazinger flies out of the ocean with it. Kouji later thanks the Robot Corps pilots for helping him.
Episode 17, "Endless Eight (Part 2)"

Synopsis: Two weeks before the end of summer break, Haruhi calls together the SOS Brigade to cram in as many activities as they can before school starts again. These events include going to the public pool, attending a festival, shooting off fireworks, cicada catching, working part time, and stargazing. However, he experiences strong deja vu. Called at night to meet with Mikuru, Itsuki, and Yuki, it’s revealed that the world is in a time loop, and they’ve experienced the same two weeks 15,479 times, all observed by Yuki. The reason is apparently Haruhi’s lingering dissatisfaction with how summer ended. Despite Kyon wracking his mind, he can’t come up with a way to stop it from reoccuring.

Episode 12, "The Tears Piccolo Shed… Son Goku’s Furious Counterattack!!"

Synopsis: Piccolo jumps in front of Nappa’s attack, and takes a lot of damage in place of Gohan. As he lie dying, he tells Gohan how much he appreciated the time with him. Piccolo passes, as does Kami. Enraged, Gohan attacks Nappa, who simply defects it. Before Nappa can stop Gohan, he’s whisked away by Kintoun. Vegeta notices something then: Goku has arrived! Goku gives half a senzu to Kuririn and his son, then prepares to fight Nappa himself. Nappa is confident, but Goku proves to be extremely fast, harming Nappa more than he expected to be. Irritated, Vegeta tells Nappa to quit the fight- he’ll take care of Kakkarot
Episode 11, "All Is One, One Is All"

Synopsis: Edward and Alphonse arrive in Dublith, to the home of their alchemy teacher, Izumi Curtis, and her husband Sig. Izumi is angry at Edward for becoming "a dog of the state", but welcomes them anyway. Izumi casually mentions meeting the brothers’ father, Hohenheim, which upsets Edward. Later that night, Edward recalls how he and his brother met Izumi when she came through Risembool and helped stop flooding with her alchemy. Ed and Al begged Izumi to train them and she left them on an island for a month with the condition of surviving without alchemy. On the island, they learned about the flow of life and recieved further training after the trial period. The next day, Ed asks Izumi about her ability to transmute without a circle, and Izumi confronts Ed and Al about their bodies. Izumi tells the brothers about her own failed attempt at human transmutation, and holds them to comfort their pain.
