So, yeah, I thought I would write about my favorite (animated) parts of the Dragon Ball franchise. It took a while to gather (and in some case, make) clips to go with these entries. There are a lot of good moments in the franchise, even though the overall quality varies, and I’m sure there are plenty of good bits I’ve overlooked. If you feel I’ve missed good ones, please do comment and explain why.
15) Z’s Finale

Episode: #291, "Even Stronger!! Goku’s Dream is Super-Huge"
Episode 80, "The Tables Have Turned! Perfect Form Cell Finally Goes into Action"
*****SPOILERS*****
Synopsis: Gohan urges his father to stop letting up on him during training. Goku fires a powerful Kamehameha at his son, which forces Gohan to transform into a Super Saiyan to stop. Goku offers to cut Gohan’s hair now, as it’s become too long. Back at the island, Cell marvels at his new, "perfect" form. Kuririn attacks him, but a single kick from Cell knocks him out. Trunks gives him a senzu. Vegeta confidently engages Cell, but is unable to damage him. Cell shows how fast and durable he is, frustrating and frightening Vegeta. Cell thanks Vegeta for helping reach his "perfect" form, which angers the struggling Vegeta.
Episode 79, "And So, The Situation Takes a Turn for the Worst… Cell Attacks No. 18!", or "A Perfect Storm Of Idiocy"

Synopsis: Vegeta wants to allow Cell to obtain his "perfect form" in order to have a worthy opponent. Trunks, however, objects. Kuririn destroys the shut down controller Bulma made and urges Artificial Human 18 to make her escape. Cell, his path blocked by Trunks, spots 18. Cell manges to elude Trunks and 18 begins to make her escape with Kuririn. However, Cell appears. Vegeta keeps Trunks from stopping Cell. Trunks gets upset and fires a powerful attack at Vegeta. Cell easily takes 18’s attacks and closes in on her. Trunks jumps in and attacks Cell. Cell uses a Taiyo-ken and blinds everyone in the area. Then he absorbs 18 at his luxury. Cell changes into his "perfect form".
Episode 77, "Super Saiyan Surpassed! The Daring Vegeta Strikes Cell"

Synopsis: Goku and Gohan enter the Room of Spirit and Time. Gohan is astounded by how vast the inside area is. Cell continues to destroy islands in his attempt to flush out Artificial Human 18. With only one island left in the area, Cell threatens the island 18 and 16 are hiding on. However, before he can fire at it, Vegeta arrives. Confident, he boasts that he will completely destroy Cell. Trunks also arrives, but Vegeta says that he’ll just be observing. Vegeta powers up, his body bulking up. Cell is astonished. Vegeta punches him hard in the stomach, hurting him. Then he continues to attack, easily overwhelming him. Vegeta tells Cell to get serious. Cell is unable to land a hit. Kuririn approaches the island, detecting Vegeta’s ki. Goku tells Gohan that the first step to training is to make him a Super Saiyan. Gohan is unsure he’ll be able to reach that level. Goku assures him he can, announcing his intention to get Gohan to surpass himself. Vegeta continues to beat up on Cell, who starts putting up more of a fight. However, Vegeta is able to endure any attack.
I’ve finally found the time to put in some work on my SF. I painted most of the frame a proper shade of gold. I left the old arms on there to demonstrate the difference in color.
Sadly though, before I could work on the arms or other pieces, I ran out of gold paint. I did start on the rest of the kit although it turns out I’m missing a shit load of sticky tack. (For keeping the pieces on picks during painting) That or there are just so many pieces to this bloody kit.
