Over the course of my kits I’ve used many different paints, with varying levels of success. To save everyone the trouble of my trials I thought I’d create a list of some of the more notable paints I’ve used and how I’ve fared with them.
Your own experiences may differ from mine, hopefully for the better due to my own incompetence. If I’m doing something wrong please don’t hesitate to give me some tips.

Behold, the legs of my MG Victory Gundam…
What a fucking nightmare this kit has become. A full review should be coming soon. Bah.
In the meantime, I finally finished the dry brushing tutorial for the Guide. It only took so long to post because I’ve been faaar to lazy.
Also, enjoy the typos and bad grammar while it lasts. I’m bound to properly proof read sometime this week…
The most popular way to make your kit look its best is to paint its detail lines. Some people think kits look best with out them while others think they look best when done in heavy black. The popular consensus however is that you should line with a color and darkness relating to the plastic you’re working on. For example, when lining on white use a light gray. For medium colors try a darker gray, and on dark or somethings vibrant colors use a black. If you’re lining with paint try to mix in portions of the base color for a subtle effect. Remember to try different things and go with what you think looks best.

I’ve been meaning to get to this and I’m as late as your sister’s period during that scare I had with her.
2010: the future! A time when flying cars fill the air and radioactive mutants are battled with by humanoid-shaped, bipedal fighter robots under a supernova sun as Europe’s "The Final Countdown"—the only surviving single of the Great Eugenic Wars of the 80s—blares from speakers on either side of your cyronic capsule as you awake to inevitable nuclear oblivion. What a world of wonder and horror!

Episode 36, " Family Portrait"
*****SPOILERS*****
Synopsis: Hohenheim recalls the circumstances of his leaving his family. At Briggs, soldiers explore the underground tunnel Sloth had been digging and encounter a living shadow who kills them. While Olivier is trying to keep her act up with General Raven, the meeting is interrupted with news on the return of only a horse, with the arm of one of the soldiers still attached. Raven orders that Sloth be returned to the tunnel and it covered up. Miles keeps Kimbley busy, but is irritated by him. Olivier gets Raven to admit that the government had killed the Ishbalans "because they were a weak race" and fed up with his arrogance, she kills him and has him covered along with the hole. She reveals that another passage had been made into the tunnel by Edward. Kimbley visits Ed and Al at their prison cell with a guest in tow: Winry Rockbell.
You’ve got to be fucking kidding me. This has been out for a month and nobody told me?
