First off, my apologies if your accounts are missing in action. A clean copy of the DB was made a few weeks ago, edits were made against that copy, and was used for this version of the site. If you registered at the old site between then and now your account no longer exists. Please register again.
Awesome New Features:
– Adult Content behind approval button. Okay, probably not the best title for it. From now on you don’t have to become a registered user in order to view adult content!
– New Ads. Maybe not the most awesome feature, but they help pay for the host.

FCC closer to allowing XM/Sirius merger, but not without throwing shit into mix
According to Twice the long awaited* XM/Sirius merger is closer to approval from the FCC. Unfortunately they have decided to throw a wrench into the gears with a some bullshit additional requests…
The conditions would require the merged company to include HD Radio on any satellite radio product it subsidizes that also includes an AM/FM tuner, according to an Associated Press report. Stipulations would also include a six-year freeze on service fees and that Sirius and XM devote 25 percent of spectrum to minority and public-interest programming, said the AP. Adelstein’s staff could not confirm the conditions at press time.

New Capcom VS game? Who is Tatsunoko?
That’s right. There’s a brand new Capcom VS arcade game. It sure did take a long time. I suppose they were listening to their fans. Now, we all know that there won’t be a Marvel Vs Capcom 3 any time soon due to licensing issues. However, the new VS game is Tatsunoko vs Capcom Cross Generation of Heroes. Most of you are probably not familiar with Tatsunoko, at least not right away. Given other blog posts here at Otaku Revolution, I can safely assume this will be in your interests. Tatsunoko is responsible for some awesome anime series such as Macross, Casshern, Samurai Pizza Cats, Karas, Speed Racer, Video Girl Ai, and The Soul Taker among other series.
Gurren Lagann licensed by Bandai Entertainment
From Anime News Network:
The North American distributor Bandai Entertainment has announced at its New York Comic Con 2008 panel at 17:43 on Friday that it has licensed Hiroyuki Imaishi and Gainax’s Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann robot anime series. Another distributor, ADV Films, had announced at Anime Expo 2007 in July that it had licensed this series. However, ADV Films then removed this series and many others from its catalog in January, and did not restore Gurren Lagann’s place in its catalog when the other titles returned in February.
otakurevolution.net
otakurevolution.net makes its return as an active domain. Brian transferred the domain over to me so that I could put it to good use. Well, better use than it was getting, anyway.
I’ll be sure to cross-link over here as well, once I get a few updates to the main page done.
